How this works
Shares controlled documents with named people, records that each version was opened and acknowledged, and captures typed or drawn signatures.
Who uses it
Agency staff issuing packs · Buyers and bidders · Tenants signing agreements
Step by step
- 1Staff upload a document against a property or application and choose who may see it.
- 2Recipients are notified and must open the document in the portal to acknowledge it.
- 3Where a signature is required, the signer draws or types their signature and confirms their details.
- 4The platform stamps the signed PDF with signer name, timestamp and a verification reference, and stores it as the record copy.
- 5If a new version is uploaded, prior acknowledgements are marked superseded and re-acknowledgement is requested.
Data captured
- Document versions with upload author and date
- Per-recipient opened, acknowledged and signed timestamps
- Signature image, signer details and verification reference on the stamped PDF
Emails it sends automatically
- New document available
- Re-acknowledgement required for a new version
- Copy of the signed document to all parties
Why it matters commercially
